HISTORY
The company was founded in 1994 by Arne Skeie when he and local investors bought the vessel Friborg, since then the company has grown and you can see all the vessels we manage on our site. OBJECTIVES
The main objectives of Kopervik Ship Management AS managed vessel is to transport cargo, over sea from shipper to receiver,
in the most efficient way according to contract:
Without any injury to personnel
Without polluting the environment
Without any damage to the cargo
Without any damage to the vessel
Without any damage to third part and to our customers full satisfaction
PHILOSOPHY
Kopervik Ship Management AS (KSM) is a fully integrated management company. We consider our organisation to be very flexible and running our vessels and serving our customers in an efficient and satisfactory way.
Therefore KSM has its ownsafety/quality department and is certified with a DOC issued by DNV according to the ISM code. We have our own crewing department and own technical department with branch office located in Gdansk, Poland.
KSM and its staff has also invested in ship owning companies and vessels for which we have management. This underline our personal approach to the management.
We have a very close cooperation with WAGLE CHARTERING AS * in Oslo (1000 - 2000 tdw) and HØYERGRUPPEN AS in Porsgrunn (3000 - 5500 tdw) who are doing the chartering.
